Berlin / Zurich, 12 May 2025 - For the third consecutive year, Zattoo’s white-label TV platform has proven its technical edge in the highly regarded German IPTV benchmark test run by Zafaco in collaboration with IMTEST magazine. Zattoo-powered offerings from major customer 1&1 again performed strongly among competitors, reaffirming Zattoo’s position as a leading enabler of high-performance IPTV.
This year’s test highlights included “very good” ratings for 1&1, with the operator showing top-tier performance across key technical categories such as channel switch times under network load. Notably, in EPG zapping speed, Zattoo customers were again among the fastest, demonstrating Zattoo’s consistent strength in delivering responsive user experiences. “These repeat top rankings confirm the technical quality and consistency of our platform,” says Jörg Meyer, Chief Commercial Officer at Zattoo. “We don’t believe that only the largest telcos should lead in IPTV performance. Our goal remains to give every operator and Internet service provider access to a product that meets the highest industry standards for their subscribers — and the test results show we’re succeeding.”
The results also underscore Zattoo’s commitment to deliver a fully integrated TV-as-a-service model, while setting new standards of modularity and efficiency compared with other existing platforms, by which Zattoo continues to enable its clients to compete successfully—even against far larger multinational players.
Zattoo will present its latest innovations at ANGA COM 2025 in Cologne, from 3–5 June.
