As the largest telecommunications company in Ireland, eir (EIRCOM limited) operates its own landline and mobile phone network as well as being an Internet Service Provider. In future, eir will offer a unique TV service, all provided by ZATTOO including hosting, updates and managed services.
eir and ZATTOO already have a range of achievements under their belts for this TV service: In addition to cooperation with Apple, and the Apple TV 4K box, device registration was introduced for eir for the first time. Operator login will also be used on all Apple devices to automatically install eir’s TV app. In future, eir’s TV users will be able to get their product up and running as quickly as possible thanks to Apple’s familiar and intuitive installation and user experience.
In addition to an extensive channel list for linear live TV, the TV service includes cutting-edge interactive TV features such as Instant Restart, Time Shift, Catch-up TV and nPVR. ZATTOO has also added complex blackout features to the platform for eir. This allows content to be hidden if a show cannot be viewed for legal reasons.
ZATTOO operates the entire service as an end-to-end solution and guarantees the operation of the entire TV platform including White Label applications for all devices.
Salt is one of the top three mobile operators in Switzerland with its own nationwide mobile network. Salt also launched its own landline product in 2018 and is the first company in the world to offer superfast internet at speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second. It also offers a TV service, completely provided, hosted and managed by ZATTOO, and which is unique in the world.
Salt and ZATTOO have already had a series of firsts with this TV service. On one hand, it is the first TV service to partner with Apple on the new Apple TV 4K Box as a set-top box. 1&1 is a European “tier 1” telecommunications operator and one of the largest provider of internet and telephone services in Germany where 1&1 has 4.5 million broadband customers. Since the end of 2017 1&1 has been offering a completely cloud-based Multiscreen IPTV service with 1&1 Digital-TV.

Florida based Hotwire Communications offers ISP services under their Fision brand to a large and growing number of communities and customers in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and states along the eastern seaboard.
In the initial phase, focus will be on mobile devices with iOS, Android and Windows 10 operating systems, as well as on a browser player for PC & Mac. Soon afterwards the service will be extended to include streaming on various other devices such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku. Along with linear Live TV and Video on Demand in HD and UHD quality, the service will offer state-of-the-art interactive functionality such as instant restart, time shift, catchup TV, network DVR. For the mobile TV service ZATTOO deploys a central “TV Hub” at the Hotwire Communications’ co-location facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The mobile and cable network operator Monaco Telecom offers its customers the quattro of private IT services with fixed network, mobile telephony, Internet and TV services.
With the launch of Monaco Telecom TV the company will offer a unique TV service, which is completely hosted and managed ZATTOO.
After the European Tier 1 telcos Salt and EIR, Monaco Telecom is also the next B2B customer of ZATTOO to use Apple TV as the central component.

Azienda Multiservizi Bellinzona (AMB)
AMB is a public utility and telecommunications company owned by the Municipality of Bellinzona in the Swiss Canton of Ticino. In combination with their FTTH access products, AMB is now expanding with a modern multiscreen IPTV solution completely hosted and managed by ZATTOO under the name WamboTV.
The Wambo TV service is based on ZATTOO’s white label TV Platform and provides AMB’s customers with a wide range of features within the branded TV experience including Live TV, 7 day Catch-Up / Replay, Restart, Live Pause and Network PVR.
The WamboTV service gives access to more than 200 Live TV channels, including 56 available primarily in Italian. A MySport package with 12 channels entirely dedicated to sports content is planned to be offered to AMBs customers.
In addition to a consistent and configurable feature set, AMB’s customers can also choose from a wide variety of market proven devices from which to enjoy their new TV service including Apple TV, Smart TVs and mobile devices
AMB is the first ZATTOO customer to take advantage of the recently announced 4K/UHD set-top box powered by Android TV, offered in partnership with Skyworth. With Android TV, Wambo TV provides access to live TV, nPVR, on-demand, streaming apps, and more. Ask Google to control it all using voice. The Android TV Operator Tier certification also allows AMB to customise the main menu experience with a customer launch that includes the recommendation of additional apps to provide end customers during first time installation.
The Munich based M-net today provides approximately 400.000 households with reliable communication technology. And in the process, it offers everything from one source: from telephone and mobile communications to data center and future-oriented high speed internet.
Under the brand “M-net TVplus”, M-net has launched its own modern multiscreen IPTV beginning of 2016. The TV solution is completely hosted and managed by Zattoo. That means, that Zattoo provides the entire TV platform from headend up to the M-net individual TV applications for the set-top-box and the mobile devices, thus continuously updating and developing it.
As a significant regional operator, NetCologne serves approximately 400.000 households in Western Germany with future-proof communication technology. For many years NetCologne has already been established as a cable provider in the housing industry.
In May 2016 NetCologne has started its own multi-screen IPTV solution under the brand “NetTV”. NetCologne has chosen a TV solution that is fully hosted and managed by Zattoo. As one of the biggest regional telecommunications companies the Oldenburger EWE TEL provides more than 600.000 households with high speed internet, mobile communications, telephone and now also IPTV.
With ist own IP-based TV solution EWE TEL has introduced a new generation of mobile TV applications for iOS and Android devices as well as online TV for the PC and laptop. Customers of the EWE brand as well as customers of the brand swb TV and osnatel TV benefit from the upgrade in equal measure. Zattoo takes over the complete development as well as the hosting and the operation of the entire IPTV platform including applications.
As a regional energy provider EW Goms in the canton of Valais has been offering telecommunication services for more than 15 years and has now added a forward-thinking FTTH solution under the brand WALY.TV to the services they offer.
With “WALY.TV” EW Goms has successfully entered the market with its own state-of-the-art Multiscreen IPTV solution. The IPTV product is completely hosted and managed by ZATTOO.
WALY.TV’s customers have access to over 200 channels and 60 of them in HD-Quality. They can watch all shows up to seven days after they have been broadcast (catch-up TV). The TV product also includes network PVR for up to 500 TV programs.
The German network operator VSE NET based in Saarland provides high-speed internet connections and telephone services via its own fiber optic network. End of 2016 VSE NET has started its own Multiscreen IPTV service under the brand schlau.com.

St.Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke (SAK)
The SAK is a dynamic Swiss energy supplier that has invested for some years in the expansion of its own fiber optic infrastructure. In order to be able to offer a modern TV product alongside its fast internet and telephone service, SAK has chosen ZATTOO.
Since 2015, ZATTOO has been operating for SAK under its own brand an integrated Multiscreen IPTV service, both for the big TV screen (via set-top box) as well as for mobile devices.
Alongside regular live TV, SAK customers can watch all programs for up to 7 days after appearance (catch-up TV). In addition, the TV product has a live pause function and the network-based recording of TV content (nPVR).
The Swiss Glattwerk AG has been banking for several years on the expansion of its fiber optic network and is offering products built around quick internet access for business and private customers. In an effort to place itself on the market as a triple-play provider, Glattwerk is depending for its own Multiscreen IPTV product on Zattoo.
Alongside an application for the large TV screen (via set-top box), end customers can also use the apps for TV on mobile devices.
In addition to regular live TV, Glattwerk customers can watch programs for up to 7 days after their appearance (catch-up TV). The TV product includes the network-based recording (nPVR) of TV content for up to 250 broadcasts.
Quickline with its approximately 400,000 households is the second largest cable network in Switzerland. Zattoo has developed for Quickline a complete TV everywhere solution and has operated it since 2013 with steadily rising customer counts.
At present, the service is available for PC/Mac as well as for iOS, Android and Windows devices. Live TV with over 100 stations in individual sequence is complemented by user-friendly catch-up functionality for all channels, nPVR (the network-based recording of TV content) as well as VoD integration with premium video-on-demand content from the big Hollywood studios.
Kabel-TV Lampert belongs to the largest private cable operator in Austria. By choosing the new DVB-C/IP Hybrid TV solution of ZATTOO Kabel-TV Lampert offers a TV product that brings together the best of two worlds:

As a national energy provider, ENTEGA – based in Darmstadt – provides high-speed internet connections and telephone services via its own, wide-branching fiber-optic network. In June 2018, ENTEGA launched its own modern multi-screen IPTV service under the brand entegaTV.
As an end-to-end service provider, ZATTOO takes care of the entire technical platform – from the headend/ingest of signals, encoding/transcoding, to transferring the finished IPTV streams to the ENTEGA network. With entegaTV, existing customers can choose between more than 80 live TV channels and a wide range of foreign language packages.
The Swiss service provider VTX uses Zattoo’s Second Screen solution and thereby rounds out its existing IPTV product for the big TV screen. With mobile applications for Android and iOS as well as a browser-based version for PC/Mac, VTX’s end customers can use the product in its entirety.
The service for the Second Screens is hosted and managed completely by Zattoo and makes it possible for users to have a user experience of the highest order: alongside live TV, functions like time-shifted television (catch-up TV), live pause and personal recordings (nPVR) are supported. In addition, there are different language packages so that international stations also are available to a broad clientele.
As one of the leading German energy companies, the Essen-based innogy SE has introduced its own IPTV product and offers Internet, telephony and TV from a single source. As an end-to-end service provider, ZATTOO covers the entire technical TV platform.
Customers of innogy TelNet have the choice between 130 TV programs, many of them in HD quality. innogy TV can be used on several devices simultaneously and includes numerous innovative functions such as programming recordings while on the go via an app.
As a regional energy provider, eins energie provides its customers with high-speed internet connections and telephone services. In July 2018, a new, modern multi-screen IPTV service was added under the brand eins@home.
In this model ZATTOO acts as an end-to-end service provider, offering a complete solution. ZATTOO takes care of the entire technical platform from the headend/ingest of the signals, the encoding/transcoding to transferring the finished IPTV streams to the eins energie network. With eins@home, customers can decide whether to watch television on a large TV via a set-top box or via mobile applications on smartphones, tablets or on a PC/laptop.
The BBV Deutschland company cooperates with communities and public utility companies to open up entire regions with fiber optic infrastructure. With Zattoo’s Multiscreen IPTV solution, BBV became a triple-play provider.
In the process, the BBV has decided for a TV solution under its own BBV brand that is hosted and operated in technically complete fashion by Zattoo.
From headend/ingest of the TV signals across the encoding/transcoding to the transfer of the complete IPTV stream into the BBV’s network, Zattoo covers the entire technical platform. For the set-top box as well as the Second Screens, Zattoo delivers the frontend applications.
DNS:NET is one of the large German IP carriers. In order to complement its existing television product, DNS:NET relies on Zattoo and a Second Screen product that is available to all interested network operators in Germany through a master contract between Deutsche Netzmarketing GmbH (DNMG) and Zattoo.
DNS:NET customers can use the product on smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android) as well as on the PC/Mac. The product includes 80 live TV stations.
Zattoo functions in this model as a technical service provider that offers a complete solution. From headend/ingest of the signals across the encoding/transcoding to the transfer of the ready IPTV streams into the network operator’s network, Zattoo covers the entire technical platform. The end customer relationship remains with the DNS:NET.
The German network operator BITel based in Guetersloh provides high-speed internet connections and telephone services via its own fiber optic network. In October 2017 BITel has started its own Multiscreen IPTV service under the brand schlau.com.
In this model Zattoo operates as an end-to-end provider offering a comprehensive TV solution. From headend/ingest of the TV signals across the encoding/transcoding to the transfer of the complete IPTV streams into the BITel’s network Zattoo covers the entire TV platform.
Couchfunk combines television and web video in its applications and web services. Using the Couchfunk application, users can call up the current television program via computer, tablet and smartphone. For this interaction, Zattoo delivers the streaming TV content.
In doing so, Zattoo takes over the TV platform as Backend-as-a-Service, i.e. from the headend/ingest across the encoding/transcoding including multi DRM all the way to playout/streaming. That way, Couchfunk remains in the foreground with its brand.
